Description of Services Provided:
The mission of the Medical department is to provide outpatient psychiatric services for adults with mental health issues.

The Medical department has one Board Certified Psychiatrist; two Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners; and one Psychiatric Nurse. The Medical department provides psychiatric evaluations and psychiatric medications management. Clients are seen in the office during regular working hours, and for those in rural areas, telemedicine technology may be utilized.

The Mental Health Center Medical staff also provides services in Lame Deer through Indian Health Services, as well as providing psychiatric services at the Montana Mental Health Nursing Facility in Lewistown.

Inpatient services are provided by Mental Health Center physicians through an agreement with Billings Clinic Psychiatric Center, where clients receive 24-hour acute care in a therapeutic environment.
