Nurse Practitioner – SIGN ON BONUS $2,500.00

The Mental Health Center has been serving South Central Montana for over 50 years. We provide mental health and addiction services to the community.

This position is primarily Monday through Friday 08:00 to 17:00. As a Nurse Practitioner you will see clients to assess, develop treatment plans, record, and treat patients with a myriad of mental health conditions. You will also recommend or prescribe drugs and other forms of treatment as necessary. This will include referring patients to short or long term hospitalization or specialized health resources as needed.

Requirements include: a current Nurse Practitioner license or Doctor of Nurse Practitioner, excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple duties at one time.

A background in Psychiatry to complement our services and staff is preferred but not required.

Group Home - Mental Health Worker

Group Home Staff to work  full time evening shift 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. providing on-site supervision of adults who have severe, persistent mental illness. Prefer at least one year of experience providing services for adults with mental illness and/or corresponding coursework in Human Service/Psychology.

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team, knowledge of application of behavior modification and crisis intervention skills, and ability to manage detailed paperwork. Requires valid driver’s license.

PACT Team - Peer Support Specialist

The Mental Health Center is currently recruiting for a Peer Support Specialist for our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team.  The PACT team is an interdisciplinary team which works with people who have been diagnosed with a severe, persistent mental illness.  The Peer Support Specialist must be a current or previous consumer of mental health services and have first hand knowledge and life experience coping with the symptoms of mental illness, the recovery process and stigmatism associated with mental illness. The Peer Support Specialist provides peer counseling, support and encouragement to PACT clients, acts as a liaison with community resources, assists with rehabilitation and support functions, assists with treatment and assists clients with daily living skills.

 

Qualifications include:  Peer Support Specialist Certificate or ability to go through training when hired, High school diploma or equivalent.  Effective verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, the ability to manage multiple duties, a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and the ability to develop a supportive relationship while maintaining appropriate boundaries.   Position open until filled.

Group Home - Part-time Peer Support Specialist

The Mental Health Center is currently recruiting for a Peer Support Specialist for our Group Home.  The PACT team is an interdisciplinary team which works with people who have been diagnosed with a severe, persistent mental illness.  The Peer Support Specialist must be a current or previous consumer of mental health services and have first hand knowledge and life experience coping with the symptoms of mental illness, the recovery process and stigmatism associated with mental illness. The Peer Support Specialist provides peer counseling, support and encouragement to Group Home clients, acts as a liaison with community resources, assists with rehabilitation and support functions, assists with treatment and assists clients with daily living skills. The schedule is Monday – Friday 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Nurse *$2,500 Sign on Bonus*

We are currently recruiting for a RN or LPN for our medical department clients in our Billings facility. This position works full-time day shift Monday – Friday. Primarily in an office setting and 8-5 in a great atmosphere. Duties include giving injections, monitoring medications for side effects, taking vitals, organizing and distribution of medications, and more. Experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness is a plus.

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple duties at one time. You must have a current and valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Lewistown - Part-time or Full-time Therapist *$1,500 Sign on Bonus*

The Mental Health Center is recruiting for a part time or full time  Outpatient Therapist or Therapist In-Training to join our team of caring professionals in the Lewistown, MT office. Duties include assessment, treatment planning and treatment through family and/or individual therapy; provision of emergency services and community education.
Requires a Master’s Degree in a Human Services field and licensure in LCPC or LCSW. Will consider a Therapist In-Training, with Candidacy License. Candidacy Clinical Supervision provided, by trained Staff. MHC is a great learning environment.

PSYCHIATRIST - $15,000.00 Sign on Bonus

South Central Montana Regional Mental Health Center (MHC) has an extraordinary career opportunity for a Psychiatrist to join our medical team.  The team is close-knit and provides direct and in-direct supervision to our committed, multi-disciplinary teams.  MHC is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to the establishment, development and maintenance of high quality mental health and substance abuse care in South Central Montana.  We serve ten counties (many of which are rural) and approximately 3,000 clients.  MHC has compassionate and caring clinical and support staff dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive behavioral healthcare in a supportive team environment.

Duties include providing and overseeing general psychiatric care and treatment to MHC patients as well as consultations with MHC staff and other medical personnel in the communities MHC serves. No night or weekend call is required.
